Bolt makes it quick and easy to add secure, card-present payment acceptance to any software environment. Its cloud-based integrations and sleek UI simplify the payment acceptance process and protect transactions with a powerful combination of EMV and tokenization. Unique experiences were created based on location (US or Canada). 

The Challenge

Adding secure, card-present payment acceptance to any software environment is an arduous process. The CardConnect team needed experts in point-of-sale software to bring the BOLT solution to their in-house Clover terminal hardware.

The Solution

The Infuse team initially developed the BOLT on Clover app to replace BOLT on Ingenico integration. The final solution allows CardConnect ISV partners to easily integrate payments on Clover into their software. The full suite of products includes: 

  • BOLT on Clover Mini App for US ISV partners

  • BOLT on Clover Flex for Canada ISV partners

  • A terminal management solution to quickly deploy new devices and merchants

The Outcome

The BOLT on Clover solution unlocked $2B in TAM for the Canada market alone, and continues to gain traction with the ISV vertical within Fiserv. As Clover makes a shift toward omni-channel payments through their processing rails, the BOLT on Clover solution will continue to play a key role in the execution of this vision.
